Days are buzzing with activities, and with it comes all the parties of the season, from office holiday bashes to parties. Women just love to look special, add that unique touch, charm and look stunning during the celebrations, it is that time of year famous for festive fetes, friendly gatherings, and raised spirits after all.  This season is a great time to branch out from your everyday makeup look to something a little more glamorous and different. Try something new, whether it is a new eye color, new blush on, new lipstick, or a new look. 

 

Makeup Application

 

One of the hottest looks this season is a strong mouth in a deep, rich Bordeaux. If you're going for this look, the key is to keep the rest of the face played down to really play up the lip. 

 

This is the season for you to shine and there’s no better way to do it than to play up the eyes and leave cheeks and lips radiant with natural looking shimmer that is perfect for the holidays and a great way to go from day to evening,  Run a dark brown pencil eye liner along the inner rims of your lids for that extra smoldering look, then smudge a fat line of dark eye shadow along upper and lower lash lines.  Finish with a bit of light golden shimmer shadow where the inner corners of the eyes meet the nose to brighten and open up the entire face.

Line and fill the entire lip with lip pencil.  This gives you an even layer of color across the lips and offers much longer wear.  After filling in, take your lip brush and go over the entire lip to make sure color is evenly placed. Then add a dusting of powder directly over the pencil.

 

Remember that there are 3 areas to emphasize, eyes, cheeks and lips. So, when you wear a strong lip color, it would be best to keep the rest of your face soft.  When you decide to wear a strong eye makeup, you should have a soft mouth look.
